Refund policy

Every ROADS CRAFT jacket is made to order by hand in our Istanbul atelier. What you can return depends on whether your order is a standard order or a personalised one.

What is a standard order?

Your order is a standard order if all of the following are true:

  1. You chose a product from the collection on our site (jacket, trench coat, blazer or vest). The product is made with the design, leather, colour and paint shown on its page.
  2. You chose the size from the standard size list on the product page (2XS–2XL), or the product is a single-size 1 Of 1 product. You did not provide measurements or ask for a change to the pattern.
  3. In "The Signature Touch" section you did not have a name or date added to the lining, and you did not request hand-painted exterior lettering.
  4. You placed the order through checkout on our site.

The following do not stop an order from being standard:

  • The product being hand-sewn and painted in our atelier after your order arrives. All of our products are made this way.
  • Choosing the lining colour from the colours in the list.
  • Small differences in colour, leather texture and paint that come from handmade production.
  • Sending the product as a gift to another address.
  • Buying a 1 Of 1 product. 1 Of 1 products can also be returned within 14 days; a returned 1 Of 1 product may be offered for sale again, but the design still exists as a single piece only.

What is a personalised order?

An order is personalised if it includes any of the following:

  • a name or date added to the lining,
  • hand-painted exterior lettering on the product,
  • Custom Made: asking for your own design, your own measurements or a pattern change through the Custom Made form on the site or by writing to us.

If, after a standard order, you write to us asking for a change to measurements, pattern or design, before making the change we will tell you in writing that it will make the order personalised and remove the right of withdrawal, and we will ask for your approval. If you do not approve, your order stays standard.

More than one product: Each product in the same order is assessed separately. Personalising one does not affect the return rights of the others. You can see which product is personalised in the personalisation lines under the product in the cart and in the order confirmation.

1. Cancellation within 48 hours: every order

You can cancel any order free of charge within 48 hours of placing it. Use the "Withdraw from contract" link on the site, or write to info@roadscraft.com with your order number. We refund the full amount you paid, using your payment method, within 14 days at the latest.

After 48 hours your jacket goes into production. From this point, personalised orders cannot be cancelled. For standard orders, the 14-day right of withdrawal below continues to apply.

2. 14-day right of withdrawal for standard orders

You can withdraw from a standard order within 14 days of the day you receive the jacket, without giving any reason.

How:

  1. Tell us before the 14 days have passed. You can use the "Withdraw from contract" link on the site, write to info@roadscraft.com, or send the form below. To meet the deadline, it is enough to send your notice before the period ends.
  2. Send the jacket within 14 days of your notice (within 10 days for our customers in Türkiye) to: ROADS CRAFT, Gökalp Mahallesi, 36. Sokak No:21, Kat:5, Daire:9, Zeytinburnu, Istanbul, Türkiye.
  3. Within 14 days of the day we receive your notice, we refund the full amount you paid, using the payment method you used. We do not charge you any fee for the refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the jacket or seen proof that you have sent it.

Cost of sending it back: Borne by you. For our customers in Türkiye, the cost is borne by us: in reply to your withdrawal notice we send you the details of our contracted carrier, and you send the jacket with that carrier.

Condition of the jacket: You may try the jacket on as you would in a shop. If it has been used beyond what is needed to establish its size and quality, we may deduct the resulting loss in value from the refund.

Customs when sending from abroad: When sending the jacket back, please mark the parcel "returned goods". This prevents tax being charged in Türkiye. You can reclaim the import taxes you paid in your country from that country's customs authority; we will send you the documents you need for this.

3. No withdrawal for personalised and Custom Made orders

Because personalised and Custom Made orders are made to the specifications you set, there is no right of withdrawal; no returns or exchanges are made. Legal basis: EU Directive 2011/83 Art. 16(c); in Türkiye, Distance Contracts Regulation Art. 15(1)(ç). We show this on the product page and at checkout before you order.

This rule does not cover defective products. For defective products, section 4 below applies to every order.

4. Defective products: unconditional, for every order

If your jacket has a problem caused by our atelier or by the leather, we take it back unconditionally. This covers every order: standard, personalised and Custom Made. Details are in our Limited Warranty.

5. For our customers in the United States

This policy is shown on the product page and at checkout before every purchase. We clearly state before purchase that personalised and Custom Made orders are not accepted for return.

6. Withdrawal form
